What exactly can I do at Umicore?

At Umicore, student employees perform a wide variety of tasks in offices, laboratories, research and development as well as production areas and thus have the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience.

And how does it work?

You need to be enrolled with a college or university for the entire duration of your employment and not yet have completed your final exams. In addition to a duration of at least 2 months up to a maximum of 1 year, you will be hired either part-time during your lecture time (max. 20 hrs.) or full-time during your semester breaks. A mix of full and part time employment is also possible.

Will I also make some money in the process?

The remuneration of student employees is governed by the collective agreement and remunerated accordingly.
