The Umicore site in Schwäbisch Gmünd is the headquarters of Umicore’s Electroplating activities and part of the Metal Deposition Solutions business unit. The site develops, produces and markets electrolytes, electrodes and process solutions for high‑quality surface finishing.
With its strong expertise in electrochemistry, materials science and process technology, Schwäbisch Gmünd supports demanding technical and decorative applications. Customers from industries such as semiconductors, electronics, communication technology and jewellery rely on solutions developed at this site.
