Umicore apprentices celebrate successful completion of their apprenticeships and start their careers
Four Umicore apprentices at the Wolfgang Industrial Park had reason to celebrate last Friday when they received their certificates after successfully passing their final exams. At the celebration, the two chemical laboratory assistants, one female chemical technician and one male chemical technician looked back on their time together and looked forward to the next stage in their lives.
The circular materials technology group Umicore was able to offer all four young professionals an employment contract. The former apprentices are now starting their daily work at Umicore, where they will contribute their accumulated knowledge and take on a wide range of tasks.
“We support our apprentices over a long period of time, from the signing of the training contract to the graduation ceremony. I am therefore all the more delighted that we have been able to offer all four graduates a job and accompany them on their future career path,” says Carsten Neumann, Head of Human Resources at Umicore AG & Co. KG.
