Umicore Honors More Than 300 Years of Loyalty to the Company

Last Friday, 10 employees of the circular materials technology company Umicore celebrated a combined 310 years of service. The honorees celebrated this special occasion together with their families. The Executive Board, management, and the Works Council honored the employees’ 25 or 40 years of service to the company during a festive ceremony at the Brockenhaus in Hanau-Lamboy.

In his speech, Fuchs looked back on the highlights of the past 40 years. In particular, the early years of the honorees—the periods between 1982 and 1997—were eventful times that stirred up a range of emotions among those present. In closing, he thanked his colleagues for their dedication. In recognition of their commitment and long-standing loyalty, they received a gold bar.

Following the official part of the event at the Brockenhaus in Hanau-Lamboy, there was still plenty of time to chat and reminisce about their own stories and anecdotes from the past decades at Umicore.
