Eleven Umicore apprentices embark on their professional future

In a festive ceremony today, eleven apprentices from the circular materials technology company Umicore received their certificates and congratulations on successfully completing their apprenticeship. The graduates include four chemical laboratory assistants, four chemical technicians, one warehouse logistics specialist, and two industrial clerks. Particularly noteworthy is the outstanding performance of Emily Gaus, who completed her final exam as a chemical laboratory assistant with the top grade of 1.

“I am very happy that I was given this opportunity at Umicore. The apprenticeship was very exciting and varied. I learned a lot and look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues,” said Emily.

“We are proud of the commitment and motivation our apprentices have shown throughout their apprenticeships. Their success is proof of their versatile skills and their great willingness to develop in their respective fields,” said Sandra Müller, Hanau Site P&O Coach at Umicore. “It is always special to accompany young people through these exciting and instructive years, and we wish them all a good start to their future careers.”

Ten apprentices are now starting their professional careers at Umicore and, thanks to their excellent apprenticeship, are well equipped for their future career paths.
