Contents and process

Modern industrial companies work in a dynamic surrounding. Topics such as short innovation cycles, internationalization of purchasing, modern logistics, globalization, digital controlling, lean production and new management models are the basis for dynamic and well-trained trainees.

During your training, for example, you will learn new things within the following fields:

  • Production logistics, material economics, purchasing
  • Marketing, sales 
  • Controlling, taxation, investments and financials 
  • HR management 
  • IT management 
  • International Business Administration

Practical training takes place at the Duale Hochschule Baden Württemberg (Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University). During the practical phases, you will work within the company. We expect from graduates of economics that they possess a wide range of business know-how at an academic level.

School leaving certificate

You have the subject-related certificate of aptitude for higher education or the general certificate of aptitude for higher education (your country's equivalent to Germany's Abitur, e.g., A-levels).


You are curious, interested in a broad variety of topics and love team work? Then this training fits perfectly.

Duration of studies

The Bachelor economics in industry in cooperation with DHBW in Lörrach lasts six semesters.
